The crews are not slowing down. In just the past 7 days since our last update, the progress on the Cape San Blas beach renourishment project has been incredible. Sand is being pumped in all along the shoreline and the beach is already looking dramatically different. Crews are literally working night and day, and there are two dredges pumping in sand for us!
This project is restoring one of the most beautiful stretches of Gulf Coast beach in Florida — and watching it come together in real time is something special. We’ve been out there documenting it so you can follow along whether you’re a local, a visitor, or someone thinking about making the Forgotten Coast home.
